increasing product reach

This business, based in the chemical industry, was formed in 1999 to provide biocide solutions for hotels, care homes and other operators of large buildings. Expanding the product portfolio and coverage raised challenges around sales and marketing, in terms of how the product would be presented and marketed online. Our role was to prepare graphical designs around the product Geosil50, propose a website theme and build it based on open-source CMS to allow quick and easy adjustments by the business. Core to the brief was to make the product Geosil50 available online.

Customer journey

We brought clarity to the services by introducing ‘signposts’ on the website to the business offerings, including consultancy and training. This clearly segmented each offering and made it easier for visitors to find the service relevant to them.

For the engineering sector, we specialise in open-source CMS platforms like WordPress and Drupal, which are suitable for retail and wholesale of up to £30m online turnover. We can integrate these with eCommerce and social media platforms.

Visibility & reach

When considering the visual approach, we worked closely with the business to reinforce the brand, utilising the core assets to develop digital estate. We created an engaging digital experience to help our clients increase sales online.

Our graphical designs:  logo, social media banners, and product imagery helped to bring the product to life. With the new website, social media platform, and the design of presentation templates and digital brochure, this assisted the business development team to extend their reach and build the order book.
